Well, it's a parking lot. And it's just the area around the station, plus the proximity to Düren Nord. Not a place to stay in the evening.
However, I find the very high parking fees and the very high minimum parking time at the machine outrageous. To pick someone up quickly, you have to buy a ticket for about an hour, nothing goes below that.
And if you don't have the right change (Faith 1.20 €) and just jump in quickly, pick someone up and then after really 5 minutes already have a ticket on the windshield wiper, then that borders on highway robbery !!
