Finally! Exactly this great shop was missing in Mettmann ... Great ambience, nice and attentive service and fresh and high quality products! We tested the breakfast and will hopefully come back for dinner soon ... Thank you very much and see you soon.

We stayed at the Bürger & Edelmann on November 1st, 2020. After the table had been assigned, it took 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive and the restaurant was not full. We wanted the small menu with 9 dishes to be bigger and wider. It took 30 minutes from food order to delivery to the table. In advance there was a bread selection with 2 dips, which are very tasty. The dishes were very tasty, but could have been a bit bigger. The schnitzel with the fries was very large. Extra requests for the dishes were fulfilled immediately! The staff is very friendly and helpful, but in some places the shop makes an unfinished impression. The prices (also for the breakfast offered) are sometimes a bit high. One can only hope that the restaurant will hold up and that it will be popular in Mettmann's city center in all respects.

Great breakfast to go, highly recommended. The rolls are awesome, everything else was also very tasty. Hold on, you'd be missing by now.

We were in this new restaurant on Saturday, October 31, 2020! We were not only impressed by the atmospheric ambience, but also by the friendly and courteous service! The dishes were all well presented and delicious! A real taste experience. The drinks such as wine and beer were also of great quality. The prices were absolutely reasonable considering the quality offered. For us the new figurehead for Mettmann's gastronomy. A real asset to the city!
