The only positive thing about this school for me personally was that I got the title of the Abitur there (with hanging and choking and without doing a lot for it) in the 2000s - and I don't want to complain about any question of guilt now. However: Before I graduated from high school, some teachers even bullied there, or at least made it felt strongly when they didn't like individual students, instead of getting them out of isolation and torpor. Especially in the middle school. Sometimes you were demoted or even laughed at by teachers in front of the assembled team. If you don't have stable assertiveness from the start, this naturally makes your later professional life even more difficult. This applies to all subjects (especially physical education), but also natural sciences, humanities or social sciences. Of course there were exceptions and trustworthy contacts, but these were the absolute exception. Some math teachers in the upper grades (who were just about to retire) didn't care how the student did. Was one e.g. always physically present, there was a 5 in the certificate by default and no question was asked as to why the papers / exams could not be coped with or refused because the lessons alone were a disaster in this case. Many other teachers, on the other hand, have interfered in the private life of families in a way that I found absolutely repulsive (since they had no knowledge of the student's history) and consisted only of "punishment". Fortunately, a large number of these teachers that I had to experience there should now be retired. Hopefully, the younger graduates have learned both in terms of didactics and psychology compared to their older colleagues. To be fair, you have to say that a large part of the college at that time left school and I don't know most of the faces of today. Perhaps some things have changed for the better. Personally, however, I experienced my "school career" at the West school center as a petty bourgeoisie, also among teachers and not just among classmates who had known each other from the row houses at Vohwinkler Feld since childhood. The relationship between the "well-known" colleagues (who were technically okay to good, but didactically in part completely overwhelmed) often seemed more important than the progress of those to be taught. Of course, there is no need to discuss the relationship between high school students and high school students, housed in the same building. You didn't just experience a fight, whether as a victim or as an observer in the PZ. But, of course, being in the same building was clearly a political mistake. Well then: If it has to be a high school, I would recommend others, even if the journey may be a little longer. Maybe look around in neighboring Solingen, in Elberfeld or Barmen ?!
The teachers are all nice. And if you behave well to you then you do too. Some teachers are very strict (Mr. Klaas) but also very good (Mrs. Kallfelz).
I really like school. Have a very funny humorous teacher (Fr.Fahlenbrach) as a class teacher: D
The others are also OK and so ...
Sasha Becker (Should join the Millionaire but let the students talk more), Mr. Weber (GOAT (greatest of all time) and Ms. Foltmer were the best teachers there. But Derichsweiler didn't understand what a CC means. PS 15 earned points in literature despite interference from censorship Halbach. Our level has shaped this school Abi'18
Beautiful school and horniest teacher is Mr. Weber
