The company Alt was recommended to me by my parents to paint the roof overhang, because my parents at that time had very good experience with Mr. Alt and the company. In advance, we had no big problems with Alt. By telephone we have agreed that the painting of the roof overhang and 1.800, - € will cost. Mr. Alt then carried out the work on our house as instructed. However, I noticed the following things unpleasant: 1. The work is not completed. He simply did not cancel a certain area. He left us the color for that, so we can paint it ourselves. I had not agreed that. 2. Mr. Alt, while working on our house, got a request from a neighbor to cancel something "just a little while" as well. Mr. Alt did that immediately and only later deleted our house. He then took the ladder he had borrowed from his neighbor to work with him to our house and also used it here and just left it there. 3. After work, Mr. Alt wanted to pay the agreed amount of € 1,800 cash on hand to my wife (I was in the office and only my wife was there). My wife asked for a bill in protest. He claimed that cash payment was agreed with me on the day of production. It took a long discussion for Mr. Alt to get involved in issuing a bill. 4. In retrospect, we noticed the bad work. In many places, Mr. Alt has painted over the clinkered wall next to the wooden roof overhang. A previous masking the bodies to avoid damage and dirt was probably too strenuous. 5. In the meantime, we have received an invoice for € 1,800 net, which then amounts to more than € 2,142 gross. That was not my understanding of "It costs 1,800 €". I will pay this bill now but I can only recommend to anyone for painting on the house to another painter to approach.
