I only give two stars, because I think the testers are too precise and you could save yourself some repair costs and parts. In my car there were e.g. The front shock absorbers were leaking, the fuel cap was defective, the tire offset was wrong and the right front windshield wiper was defective. Then I had the car checked at a workshop. The shock absorbers were only slightly leaking, so that the replacement was actually not profitable and the mechanic generally only had a shake of the head for the other defects. I asked around a little ... nobody knew an inspector who went into the rims and tires so precisely and thus never had any problems. In the end, I didn't get a badge. Have everything repaired in the workshop and go to the TÜV again. Paid review fees and got badge. I do not recommend this TÜV.

Only three stars because, in my opinion, these TÜV testers are too meticulous. Safety in traffic comes first, there is nothing to be shaken about, but if you are looking you will find it. My vehicle was completely overhauled before the Tüv test. Pretty much everything was changed, even parts that would have come from the TÜV without further problems. Including a major inspection etc ... I drove there with a good feeling and the car actually failed. Alleged cracks in the brake line. The vehicle was subsequently checked by the specialist workshop. There you only had to shake your head for this TÜV inspector ... The end of the song, good brake hoses replaced by new ones. Again and paid the additional fees ... Here I lack the tact of the examiners
