Had an antique armchair that didn't wobble or creak get freshly upholstered. I commissioned the armchair to look exactly like it did now, only freshly upholstered and freshly upholstered with the selected color. Had given him a lot of time. He then called, said the armchair was ready and I could pick it up. I then paid a lot of money (several hundred euros) and took the armchair home and there, as in the shop, I noticed that the armchair made noises. He shook and creaked. The seat on the left side is more than 1.5 cm lower than on the right side and he simply wrapped the armrests with fabric and stapled it. The next day, I called and said that I am not so happy with the chair and that he did not work to my satisfaction. He said I should bring the chair over again. I took the chair back and said what is all. He said that he would take care that the armchair became the way I would like it to be. After another time, I picked up the armchair again. It still creaks and wobbles. The seat is still uneven. He corrected the armrests a little and glued the chair, he said, but he couldn't do more. The fact is, I had given him a sturdy, usable piece of antique furniture and got an unstable piece of furniture that was no longer suitable for sitting back for a lot of money. In addition, he also claimed that the armchair had wobbled and creaked before. Which was often used due to its stability and thus this should have been noticed. In the end, the armchair is no longer suitable for everyday use.
