I was admitted over Christmas. I felt very bad. From the beginning I was very well looked after. Everyone was very nice despite the difficult situation for the staff. I stabilized myself and almost didn't want to go home. because i felt so safe Thank you all. The hospital is also highly recommended for elderly patients.
Were here for our daughter's birth. Very good service and an excellent midwifery team. Despite or because of Corona, my wife and the little one were well looked after.
I gave birth in Weißenburg. Not only the care in the delivery room, but also the stay on the ward was really good.
The midwives Anne, Monika and Lydia are really really nice and took good care of us!
I was in the delivery room and the midwives and doctors were very friendly, helpful and always looked after me. Everything was explained to me very calmly ... the receptionist was also very friendly!
We were there for the delivery experience.
Admission:
if the contractions were about 4.0 minutes apart, we called the hospital at about 3 a.m.
We were told that there was still time and that we should come at around 6 a.m. or when contractions are there every 3 minutes.
So we made another bath together and I tried to make my girlfriend comfortable and relaxing.
We set off at 5.30 a.m., about 1/2 hour ahead of us. In the car, contractions came every 2.5 minutes.
When I got there, I received a mask (Corona) and my girlfriend was told that she didn't need one as a patient.
Nobody knew about our arrival. The phone call that was made was therefore not forwarded to the next shift.
Delivery room:
We were referred to the delivery room on the first floor, here finally someone checked in that was a bit of a hurry. my girlfriend had to take a break 4 times on the way there and hit the floor.
The delivery room is well equipped and the responsible midwives are very capable people, but also overloaded. The actual midwife checked after the first minute that our baby is very big and that there could be complications. Another midwife came to replace her.
The birth was relatively quick. The midwife also paid attention and helped very professionally.
Afterbirth.
Unfortunately, the placenta did not want to get out by itself and my friend was in severe pain when trying to pull the wet nurse a bit.
Now the doctor in charge was called, a capable but also a bit rude contemporary.
This nagged my friend who was still in pain at first because she wasn't wearing a mouthguard and from then on she had to put it on (but this had to be fetched first because we were only given one for me at the reception).
Then he did his job, one courageous and skillful grip and the placenta was out.
Then it was time to sew, which was a horror for me to watch.
The anesthetic seemed to work badly and he began to sew, my friend screamed like a stick. Here it appeared again as if one were being pushed through like a machine and the time would be too expensive for injections and a short wait.
As a private patient, this procedure would certainly not have been so rough.
Accommodation.
We then decided to book a private room for which we had to pay an extra 85 euros a day. But this was the best decision here. Due to Corona, I was not allowed to stay in the room overnight. From then on, however, my girlfriend was looked after brilliantly.
In short:
- Professional staff,
- The communication of responsibilities leaves a lot to be desired
- Statutory health insurance patients only need politeness and humanity
expected amount.
- Private rooms fully equipped with refrigerator, telephone, TV, internet and tablet PC.
