I needed a bridal bouquet for 08/01/2020 and therefore went to various flower shops in Villingen on 07/23/2020. The flower island made the best impression on me overall with the furnishings and the range.
So that day I had my dress in midnight blue and my husband's tie in broken pink / purple tones with me.
It was recommended that I only choose the bouquet in white and pink. My wish for blue flowers was, so to speak, talked out of me. I could understand this because my dress was really very dark now. The store had flowers with a bell-shaped or rose-shaped bloom in a dark mottled broken pink - exactly matching the color of the tie. I really wanted roses in the bouquet too, so they should be white. I just wanted small roses, not big ones. So I specifically selected and specified these two types of flowers together with the seller (V1). Then I wanted a third flower, which should then be made dependent on the range of the week in question. I had to give leeway, so to speak. However, I described exactly what I wanted and what I didn't want. In addition, I have emphasized several times that this should be discussed by phone. The bouquet should be tied with a dark blue ribbon at the bottom to accommodate the desire for dark blue. The saleswoman (V1) in the shop (allegedly) wrote everything down exactly.
To be on the safe side, I went back to the shop on July 31st, 2020, found the flowers in question in the shop and named and shown them specifically as desired flowers. I had this conversation with another saleswoman (V2).
I picked up the bouquet on August 1st, 2020. It looked like this: Very large white roses that played into yellow and dominated the bouquet. Plus a few blossoms that looked a bit like carnations in baby pink! And there was no third type of flower to be seen. Small blue bows were strewn between the flowers. That hadn't been agreed. Because there was now dark blue, baby pink and yellowish-white, the bouquet looked incredibly colorful overall. And the white roses were way too big.
None of my wishes had been implemented. The fake roses, the broken-pink, double calyx flowers not in the bouquet, instead hideous baby pink, the third type of flower was missing. The little bows between the big roses looked silly and weren't appropriate for my mid-50s either. The bouquet overall is not tone-on-tone, but pastel-colored.
At first I thought that this wasn't my bouquet at all, that this was just a pattern, so to speak, that she wanted to show me first.
I was paralyzed when I realized this was going to be my bouquet. I named the deficiencies and asked the sellers (V3) to untie the bouquet again and to include the broken-pink flowers I had asked for and agreed upon. You were in business!
The saleswoman (V3) simply refused. Reason: the colleague made this bouquet and she has neither the inclination nor the time.
After all of the agreements I made, I found this bouquet to be insolent. Why do I go there twice and try to discuss everything in the smallest detail? In the end I had to take it with me, although everything had been discussed very differently and I didn't like it. I paid € 40 down for it and I had no time reserves, as I wanted to drive to the registry office half an hour later.
I find this entire process incredible. If you have a customer with exact ideas or, if you will, a “difficult” customer, you just have to consider whether or not you can take her requirements into account.
So I can never recommend this business. No real interest in implementing the customer's ideas! Bad answers!
And the store made such a good impression at first!
