So happy to have found this winery. They have our favorite Italian wine in stock for a very good price.
Since we were traveling in the area of Baden Baden we could make an appointment to pick up our order, and meet the owner and connoisseur Mr. Kahles personally. Also he happened to have in stock a wonderful Riesling I was interested in, for a friend who is learning to becoming a sommelier.
He had some excellent suggestions for us to try. Outstanding service!
We will definitely come back for a wine tasting session and place more orders in the future.
Jürgen Kahles is always available for great recommendations. I needed a present for a birthday at short notice. It became a whiskey. Kavalan from Taiwan. At first I looked in disbelief. I'm not a connoisseur, but I didn't expect a whiskey from Taiwan. I got involved and it was a complete success. The single malt was tested against a 12 year old of German origin and won by lengths. Of course it's all a matter of taste. But Jürgen Kahles also knows the droplets that not everyone else knows! It's worth taking a look or, even better, a conversation with him! Therefor 5 stars!
I gave Jürgen Kahles subsequent task. Ask me six beautiful white wines together. I told him what my wife and I prefer and he should surprise us. We got six direct hits. Every wine was special. Jürgen Kahles has high expertise. Wines are a matter of the heart for him. With excitement and anticipation, we expect our future surprises. The small vineyard - Jürgen Kahles- is highly recommended. Excellent, especially Spanish wines and cava. The owner is friendly and helpful. He often knows the winemakers and is always looking for a positive surprise. You should call before visiting. It is not always open.
