The Harp Irish Pub

First time at this place and it was a comfortable experience. Super nice ambience, and really sweet waitress. The sundowner (pink one) as suggested by the waitress was a refreshing summer drink. Above all, really warm and welcoming place where you can chill with your friends. :)

Best pub in Lautern, unfortunately not smoke-free, but it seems that people are smoking less and less inside. Friendly waitresses. Good music. Kicker and darts for free. Draft beer from Karlsberg, awesome. Price full on average.

Our hangout for years. However, experienced the absolute low point at the weekend. At first we were not let in by the "bouncers" because the shop was too full. Okay no problem. Waited a short time and we were allowed to enter. The evening promised to be long and beautiful again. After an hour or two, however, I had to go to get some cash and left the place with a friend. Meanwhile, two other friends were still sitting in the bar. When we got back in front of the bar, we weren't allowed in because a friend of ours accidentally took a glass outside. We still had our drinks and a person (as a deposit for dice cups) in the restaurant. Unfriendly and brusquely, we were turned away by the one doorman (not of German origin). He kindly brought out the ID. I won't be going back anytime soon.
