A nice old and conventional cemetery. There are and will definitely not be any tombstones with USB ports or QR codes in the future. : D With the modern cemeteries it's all just a question of time ... Only any deceased named Fridtjof and lying in the cemetery is also looked for here in vain. Therefore, not full 5 stars!

Quiet location, quiet place! I want to be here, I come here. I only miss the gastronomy here. A small beer and fries kiosk would be appropriate. A souvenir shop would also be good.

Beautiful, especially in the old part, park-like cemetery. Currently the entrance portal is being restored and this looks very good. It would be nice if the cemetery administration would stop massing yellow and green stickers on tombstones. If no one reacts to No. 3, then No. 10 does not

The New Burial Ground, today Historic Cemetery I, was created 1787-88. Unfortunately, not many have survived from the original tombs. And the received partly in deplorable condition. A walk is definitely worth it! Let's hope that the city of Dessau and its citizens (and maybe even guests) do something to preserve this ensemble. Preserved tombs: including Erdmannsdorf, Putjatin, Basedow, Berenhorst.
