Welcome service was very good, the checking out service had some flaws - nothing major but did cost them one star. Internal communication definitely needs to improve.

Extremely unfriendly customer service. Treated me like I was an idiot for asking if it was possible to change vehicles the day of pickup. Extremely out of the way location as well. If I wasn't bound to using Hertz because of my membership program, I would stop using them because this has happened before at other locations as well.

I rented a car through ADAC for three days and returned it a day earlier. I was charged more than double my credit card. Supposedly I would have had a higher price because of the earlier return. As Hertz am Hansator is only available until 12 p.m. on the weekend and I don't like to hand in a vehicle personally, I was there at 11.30 a.m. I should have photographed the car and put it in the yard after 12 noon. Since I am very often in Bremen, I will no longer use Hertz in the future, but the competition (open 24 hours, from Monday to Sunday). In the USA, I received a number of upgrades because I was always a good customer and gave the car back on time (earlier). There is only one star for the friendly gentleman when renting. So far I haven't heard anything after complaining, but maybe something will happen. A shame, was very satisfied with the car and the easy rental.

So far I have no rental experience, but my uncle had left his well-stocked wallet in the vehicle. It was found, kept in the safe and released to me using a secure process. There had to be one. Great behavior, great honest team!
