What ominous sight at night !!! I walk around the building at night, but even in the dark it was impressive! I had never been to Bremen before and was true my impressed by the quality and scale of the architecture in the old part of town. The pictures do not do it justice, it is larger than it looks. It makes for another interesting experience when visiting the center of Bremen.

Tall cathedral constructed many years ago. The construction material can still be seen as old. Very beautiful to see

Very big old church with tall towers. When you're standing close to the building, you feel yourself so little. Also church is dark in colors and has some a bit dark atmosphere, also inside it. That's why wasn't really impressed by it - didn't feel comfortable there. From the right to the cathedral entrance there is a very interesting Bible garden with plants mentioned in the Bible.

The cathedral belongs to the Bremian Evangelical Church, a member of the Protestant umbrella organization named Evangelical Church in Germany. It is the previous cathedral of the former Prince-Archbishopric of Bremen. Since 1973, it is protected by the monument protection act.
