Small but very impressive collection.

Lovely little museum if you like old books and manuscripts. They also have two globes, one of the earth and one of the sky and a few maps.

Amazing little museum! Only €5 entry + €2 for the audio guide! Great place to spend a few hours - the perfect "day date" with your significant other! Cute gift shop too!

My husband and I stumbled across this place accidentally while looking for the Roman Baths (kaisertherman). The staff was incredibly kind and they gave us English audio guides to view the books they have in their collection. I was ecstatic to see a Gutenberg bible in person! They also had Cornelli Globes and a book written by Venerable Bede on the calculation of time. This museum isn't for everyone but if you like the history of the written word this museum has some beautiful examples!

Small is beautiful! They have an exceptional collection of books that are unesco world heritage sites, just have a look!
