I can only recommend the service of Mr. Mickeleit !! Very competent in terms of DAT technology, well that's actually to be expected, but now he seems to be the only one who can often service the already over 30 years old devices! There is a clear agreement before what could be done, prices to be expected, then a very quick settlement with extensive documentation. A very detailed description of what was done and tips for use. My Sony DTC 55 ES pulled e.g. always 10W when switched off. An info I've never got at any service from any device. What has cost me that the last 20 years? Warranty also exists and pictures on Facebook which show the works and state in. My devices are running again, hope that I can come back in 10 years to the great service !! Thank you Mr. Mickeleit!

Here you can have good old DAT technology repaired by the absolute expert. I can not recommend anything else.
