Very cozy and stylish ambience. Absolutely fit this time of year. The service is incredibly polite and accommodating. The kitchen is fabulous and the dishes are well prepared. Everything is freshly prepared and comes from regional dealers. The owner is also hospitable and you immediately feel at home. Conclusion: price-performance, service, ambience and of course the dishes deserve a 5 * rating.

The food and service in this family-run restaurant are great. Short but good menu, both for the food and the wine. The only point of criticism is the volume of the guests in the room, who speak louder the louder it gets in the restaurant. Small measures to improve the room acoustics would certainly increase the quality of stay for guests and staff.

The absolute insider tip in Ilmenau! If you're looking for a pleasant, romantic and autumnal atmosphere, you've come to the right place. In one word: first class! In addition to the cozy atmosphere, unusual drinks and excellent food beckon. Just great!

Unfortunately, I can't quite share my parents' enthusiasm for this restaurant. We gladly accepted your invitation to our last day of vacation. So the disappointment was all the greater that after more than 2 hours (it was now so dark that we wouldn't have seen our food because of the lack of outside lighting) we hadn't had a main course and left hungry and disappointed. I was happy about this enrichment of the Ilmenau gastronomy, but unfortunately I was very disappointed. Unfortunately, the friendliness of the service staff is of no use here either. We waited another 30 minutes for the 4 schnapps promised by the boss because of the long waiting time and then went into the fir tree hungry.
