Siebter Himmel has a good selection of books in English, plus lots of goodies to look at too. The store is a clean, well-lighted place for books and people. Easy to hang out there even when the sun outside beckons.

Oh what a lovely store. Great selection of books and gifts. I bought the book "Where's the dude?" and had it beautifully gift wrapped. If I come back to Köln, this store is definitely back on my route. Also. To me an important sidenote. As a pregnant woman (with Crohn's disease), it's not always easy to find a restroom in time. On my trip, I had some (as I always do) referrals to restaurants and cafés, but I asked a member of staff in this shop and she was happy to show me their restroom immediately. Thanks again!
