The Cologne volunteer fire brigade in Longerich is located on Longericher Hauptstrasse not far from the military ring and the A57 motorway. The fire station is in the village. A driveway leads to the premises. The team is mixed and meets about twice a month for exercise but more often to maintain the materials. The representation on the Internet from homepage to Facebook is very good.

The volunteer fire brigade in Cologne - Löschgruppe Longerich - had to deploy over 81 times last year to fulfill their rescue and protection mission. But not only the normal working day was waiting for the Cologne rescuers in blue in 2017, but also a particularly sociable and beautiful spring festival which was organized for the whole family. Overall, the Longerich extinguishing group in the north of Cologne is very family-friendly. With their exemplary work, they inspire future firefighters (men and women) to be trained as rescuers, many of whom will later find their way to the professional fire brigade or other social work fields. Nowadays, the voluntary fire brigade and especially the Longerich extinguishing group is an institution in which traditions and social values ​​are still lived. In addition, the fire station consists only of friendly and competent volunteers, to whom we can only be grateful. Thanks and keep it up :)
