We decided at that time for this elementary school, which is not the closest because the leader and her young teachers made a competent and warm-hearted impression. From the first parents evening, we had the feeling that our children will be well looked after here. We were not disappointed in the following years. The dedicated headmistress gives everything for her children and the quality of the school. The college does more than you would expect, and together they create a space in which children are optimally and, above all, individually encouraged and challenged. In addition, thanks to the numerous cooperations, the children are offered many events, project weeks and accompanying lessons that make you jealous. I always catch myself looking back to my schooldays and wondering why we did not feel so good back then. In addition to the extensive school offers convinced the open full day with friendly staff and attractive jobs. The biggest highlight was the one-week trip to England in the fourth grade. This leads the children to the partner school in London, where their pen pals are waiting for them. An extraordinary experience for every child, full of impressions that will be with them for years to come. I highly recommend the GGS Garthestraße and advise everyone to visit this school, because it is something special in the north of Cologne.
