Good school, nice teachers, unfortunately only the technical equipment partly from the 19th century and the rooms have not been renovated for what felt like 10 years. I go to school myself and can recommend it if you rate it according to education

I have two sons who are currently teaching at the Empress Augusta School. Both are satisfied and happy. In general, the teaching staff is very committed and there are many teachers who have built a good relationship with the students. I find the work of the school management particularly outstanding. I cannot agree with the opinion that I read in the other reviews that there is no intercultural competence and empathy on the part of the teachers in this school - my children are immigrant and have only had positive experiences, in terms of acceptance. What is still missing is good equipment - there is generally a lack of rooms, especially when it comes to lounge and break rooms. And the equipment in the specialist rooms can be much better. However, another building is currently under construction and we hope that it will get better afterwards. All in all, I can only recommend this school!

I am a student at this school myself, and I would like to say that you can learn well at this school. The 3 stars are not due to the teachers, as they are competent and friendly. The 3 stars are located in the partly dilapidated state of the school as far as the specialist rooms. The student body is also rated with five stars. They are dedicated and friendly in most cases. Strong criticism is the handling of the city of Cologne with this school. Such specialist rooms should not be used for lessons!

Not suitable for children with a migration background. There are no intercultural skills or empathy on the part of the teaching staff. (With a few rare exceptions.) Nevertheless, my children felt constantly labeled "foreigners" and ostracized. School was changed.
