Around this fountain theres like a bunch of streets with numerous restaurants and good food

NoGo Area, this is a very unsafe place. Stay away there, especilly at night time.

Ugly traffic intersection with many shady drug dealers and homeless people.

Now the fountain is bubbling again and everything is fine. Since dealers are afraid of water you won't see them here anymore. Instead, flower children will dance around the fountain and sing folk songs while the parents enjoy a vegan organic ice cream from the food truck. Long live hypocrisy. Ebertplatz outdoor pool - this is what Ebertplatz is now called. Hahahhahahahaha. Wait until autumn comes. There are beautiful places in Cologne, Ebertplatz will never be one of them. Not with a bubbling fountain, nor with picnic blankets and organic mothers. Addendum: In the night from 08/24/19 to 08/25/19, the second person was killed at Ebertplatz and the Linke Bioleute are there again this afternoon with their children and celebrate their Ebertplatz. Keep your eyes closed. Ebertplatz is one of the most dangerous places in Cologne and should be avoided especially at night. Nothing will change about that.
