If you have to catch an ICE, you'd better not be in a hurry as it's rather confusing to find the underground track dedicated for fast trains. Not yet to say there's no elevator whatsoever to help you with your heavy or bulky luggage in this small train station. However, if you're looking for a place to temporary deposit your luggage, there's a few deposit boxes at the station, next to the Deutsche Bahn Information Office.

Nice clean station with helpful information desk staff. But, when we used the station, none if the escalators worked and we had 4 cases to carry up 4 flights of stairs. There are no lifts either. No offer of help from any of the station staff.

At this train station, elderly people have to heave their e-bikes up the stairs, women have to balance their strollers down the stairs and pregnant women don't have it easy either. I wish they had given this station a clearer name: "Diversity-unfriendly station, please do not change here if you cannot climb stairs". Theoretically there are escalators, but you have to look for them first. But these tend to be broken. The outside of the station is pretty and looks clean.

Nothing for old bones, no elevators and very unsuitable for wheelchairs on platform 12 (access from Lenneper Straße possible, but with detours). Could be properly renovated, because there are trade fair locations around in this area Everything has also been designed up to date. PS escalators are there (if it works at all), but at the other end of the platform at the back
