It was a very interesting and funny tour :)
It offers something different than offered.
We were registered by phone. Meeting point Heinzelmännchen fountain. There gathered a lot of participants and 3 night watchmen. Nobody wanted to take us. The older lady has then 15 instead of the agreed € 13.50 cashed and we have attached to a night watchman. The group was so big that there were problems with understanding.
There followed a lesson in history.
It was neither funny nor scary. For 15 € per person (we were 9), I clearly expected a bit more entertainment.
I can not recommend it.

Nice tour, a lot of learning. Were not even checked, which I found rather pity, have finally paid. Who knows who did not do that.
Unfortunately, very disappointing. Relatively general information about Cologne (Dom, carnival, Kölsch) which one knows as a Cologne for a long time and little on the scary / crime / myths. Really annoying, was also the sexism in every other sentence. "Women are known to be the evil of the world." etc.
We just participated in the night watch torchlight tour. It was really a great tour thanks to our night watchman Wolfgang. We can recommend this tour to anyone interested in the history of Cologne. Very interesting and informative and fun designed. Thanks to Wolfgang, it was never boring and the whole group had fun.
