My husband stayed in Ward 6 for almost 5 weeks without a break. The sisters are very friendly, nice and helpful. No matter how often my husband needs help, help was always there immediately, day or night. I only had to ask for laboratory values and got them printed out immediately. A doctor during my visit was also notified immediately upon request. After a short time, a doctor answered my questions about my husband's illness. The hours that I could not be at my husband's side in the clinic were taken over by the nurses in Ward 6, so that I saw him in good hands and could sleep peacefully myself. The doctors treated (Cherogie) did their job SUPER. The course of the disease and the operation were not a cold but very threatening. Also worth mentioning is the registration area in the entrance of the clinic. Seven nice and helpful ladies alternate loosing every patient and visitor to the respective wards, emergency room and so on. Always friendly and helpful. The rooms are not so good. These are not cleaned daily by cleaning staff. But it's no different in other clinics. Despite the positive experience, we don't need a repetition, but we can recommend this hospital and especially Ward 6.

I would have to give 2 reviews. The first one doesn't deserve a star: My mother (type 2 diabetes) has been a patient at the Johanniter Hospital Bethesda Mönchengladbach since Friday, August 21, 2020. The room (619 plastic surgery station) is only sparsely cleaned. A THICK layer of dust on the supply bars, on the non-usable TV sets, etc. I don't even mention the bathroom. The doors of the shared bathroom don't rattle shut in the slightest gusts of wind and at night's sleep think. Most of the nursing staff are constantly annoyed. There are snappy answers to questions and always "you have to clarify that first". With prescribed bed rest, you get on the nerves of the nursing staff when you have to relieve yourself. No assistance either with this or with the daily personal hygiene. The drugs are responsible for increasing blood sugar levels. To hints why and what you can do ... no reaction. 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆ are: The attending physician Dr. Loghmania was friendly at all times and even explained to me, as a relative, exactly what happened and what needs to be done. The care of my mother was always politely and well explained. Some of the nurses were also friendly and helpful. The ladies in the emergency room and at reception were very courteous, friendly and understanding. I could write a lot more (both positive and negative) but one thing is certain ... from a nursing point of view, an absolute no go

Since negative reviews are written more quickly than positive ones, I would like to praise the hospital, the nurses and the doctors. I went to the emergency room for a cardiological matter and was allowed to stay there for 3 days. First of all, I hate hospitals but who likes to be there? The floor 10, treatment and friendliness of the staff was excellent. Only the mattresses felt a hardness of H6 but everyone likes to lie differently soft ;-) When you come to Bethesda, you are in good hands.

On October 27th, 2020 my 90 year old father came to the hospital. Since he is almost deaf, has trouble walking and is otherwise in need of help, we were very worried. There is an absolute ban on visitors. But our worries were totally unjustified. The nurses and nurses at Ward 6 looked after him very lovingly and helped him. For us relatives, they were ready to give detailed information by phone at any time. My father is not an easy patient, but he was very enthusiastic about the good care. Special thanks go to Dr. Loghmanieh. He operated on my father and continued to look after him on the ward. We talked on the phone together almost every day and were informed about everything by him. He took a lot of time and always explained everything in detail. He explained to me that he and the chief physician attach great importance to the fact that patients and relatives feel comfortable despite everything. I just can approve that too. Thanks a lot for this!! Many thanks also to Ms. Kremers, the friendly and helpful lady from the office. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and helpful at all times. Even when it was hectic, they had time to explain or bring things to the ward for my father. When a hospital treats patients and relatives so well and appreciatively, despite all the stress, it deserves great recognition. Thank you everyone and stay safe.
