It was a heavy rain in Ingolstadt for like 15 minutes. We were walking in the street when it started, so we stood in the opened gate of Hotel Adler, you can see it in my pictures. It was appr. 10 people alltogether, doing nothing just calmly standing there and waiting for the end of the raining. After like 10 minutes a security guard came and told us to leave in a very rude tone and even closed the gate on us. I have to note again, we were doing nothing, just calmly standing there for a few minutes. I really don't recommend this hotel, as this manner is unacceptable even if we were not guests of the hotel.
Staff are lovely, place feels like something out of an Agatha Christie novel. Utterly fantastic.
Nice hotel, we were on our way through to Italy. Perfect for an a stop over. The restaurant was also good, decent selection of local foods. The surrounding lent itself well for a small walk after dinner.
Enjoyable staff, nice room and impeccable breakfast, I recommend!
Great food at Anna the cafe! Best place I’ve been!
