We have used this area for years to hold an outdoor adventure camp. It is great for that. The overlook into the valley is stunning. There is a structure with a roof and several open walls that can keep you dry if there is rain (it also breaks a decent amount of wind depending on where you are at in the structure and where the wind is coming from). There is also a counter/table near some sinks for food prep, etc. In a separate building there are bathrooms and running water (cold only as far as I know). The site also has a couple of fire pits that you can is to get a bonfire going. All in all it's a great location if you want to spend some time out in nature. Just don't expect it to be ultra hi tech.
A great place with great views
A great holiday destination. Worth an adventurous hike. Good footwear and mountaineering conditions should not be wrong.
