Right next to the already quiet city center is this little park. As Calw is down in a narrow valley, this park is along a quite steep slope.
Still a great place for a little stroll. Especially when you take attention to the information boards about Hermann Hesse.
Very nice little city garden with a lot of history and the starting point of a very nice 13.4 km hike. Water forest and meadow path.
Not a very big center and few attractions, but a visit once will do.
Park very poorly maintained ... especially when compared with the images of the park in the past shown on site.
The city garden is equipped with many poems by Hermann Hesse. It is very hilly. The many benches along the paths invite you to linger.
