The Donzdorf reservoir - or, to a lesser extent, the reservoir of the Simonsbach valley - was only refilled last year after a large-scale renovation and has since been a wonderful backdrop for an evening walk, a short jogging round or a highlight of the longer bike tour. The surrounding area is very clean, not overgrown and the reservoir is easily accessible from different directions. So there is certainly nothing against an after-work beer and a meat loaf from OMV on a mild summer evening. Yep, it's the simple things in life;)

The reservoir offers a nice opportunity to enjoy nature with the animals and plants. Circumnavigation is easily possible. Then you can fortify yourself in the nearby restaurant Waldschenke and linger a little there.
