Filscher Häuschen

The "Filscher Häuschen" used to be a hotel with a restaurant dating from 1846. The hotel and restaurant have been empty for a number of years and the building is falling into disrepair. Since it is not far from Trier University, a new student residence may be built here. The busy intersection in front of the "Filscher House" is a hotspot for accidents. Local politicians have been talking for years about calming this intersection with a roundabout. The building looks a bit creepy now.
