Berghotel

A very cosy, clean and peaceful hotel with a very friendly owner.

At first I would say I`d never "bet" on it, but at the end I have to admit, I had a very nice and pleasant stay at this hotel. Yes, maybe is not what you can define a "modern place", but the rooms was definitely big enough and even more important is was clean and in order. The owner is a very nice and helpful person. The hotel have also a restaurant/pub: same I would never have imagine this, but I stayed there for the evening, and I had a very very good dinner. Definitely not a "big" menu, but everything we had there, was really well made and well cooked, really delicious. And prices also are absolutely affordable, and on the average for the place. Is located not that far from Trier, is about 30min (I think about 20km) on a very "up and down" road through the valley.

First reception was very nice; the owner was very friendly, he even moved his own car out of the garage to safely store our two motorcycles. The hotel is very clean.Ok, maybe a bit older here and there,but the shower was recently remodelled and squiky clean. Diner was just good. Mayby a short menu cart, but low prices and very tasty. For the room price you cannot get any better. I'll surely return here. Only the matrasses; bit too soft for me, and maybe also a bit dated.

Excellent food in an old, but very cozy country inn in a beautiful landscape. We will come back for sure! 👍🤗
