Unfortunately, I can not write anything about the farm itself, since I have not been here .... which is not bad either. I would like to get rid of the rolling barbecues, which I visit since 1993 in several places in the district Borken. At the first visit back then in Stadtlohn I tried the pork knuckle ... and of course the friday regular enjoyment a little bit increased 😀 ... but ... the taste of these knuckles I did not find anymore. Deliciously spiced, crunchy crispy grilled to the point, these tidbits do not shy away from comparison and are, in my opinion, competitive. No matter how big or small the knuckle seems to be, they come on their own statement with 900 gr on the grill, of course, lose water and fat, but gain an unmistakable taste. The price of 1993 (4.50 DM) has now increased to 6 €, but they are unbeatable in terms of taste compared to the offers from the refrigerated counter of various retail chains. As long as one does not exaggerate the consumption, one also stays in the form 😀
