Just take a vacation in Kürten! Abend Spent a nice evening in the elm last night and ate well. At some point the children were placed in our booked room and another sack was taken at the counter ... this morning we had breakfast at the local bakery! Wonderful! ... and the journey home is done in 10 minutes without traffic jams! 😉

The Landgasthaus Zur Alten Elm is like the centerpiece of the center of Kürten. The location is quiet and peaceful. On one side of the house you have a beautiful view over meadows and forests and on the other side you can look directly at the beautiful elm. The rooms are clean and newly renovated. Everything is nice and light. Nearby there is a wonderful bookstore, an ice cream parlor, a great one Bakery on the church square next to the church. The local people are all very warm. At that time there was the restaurant of the elm (belonging to the country inn Zur Alten Elm), which hopefully reopened soon. This was a place where old and young met and not only Kürten met there, but also people from all over the world, when the Stockhausen concerts and courses Kürten have taken place. So it's also an internationally significant place. Personally, I can only recommend to anyone to book the country inn Zur Alten Elm and enjoy the peace right in the center.
