Fascinating place! This church, with its ancient parts, gives me a lot of joy every time I see it.

Preservable building. Nice that it is still used for worship.

The church is part of the ruins of a Benedictine monastery founded around 1200 in the Bad Dürkheim district of Seebach. The village square in front of the church, the ruins and the church have a great character. The church was open, organ music could be heard. In the church we could then listen to the organist practicing. The church has good acoustics. Definitely worth a detour on a hike around Bad Dürkheim.

A beautiful little church in the ruins of a monastery. Nice acoustics of the organ. Access is via a stone staircase (note for strollers, wheelchairs, etc.) The village square next to it has also been great designed. Parking should be outside on the Seebacher parking lot behind the Landhaus curse. I am always happy to be there. A beautiful place.
