Weingut Schröder-Weisenborn

A smaller winery on the German Wine Road where we stopped on a Saturday afternoon. We had a pleasant visit tasting several of their white wines which included Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Blanc. The tasting room isn't very large so I could see things slowing down if there were a large group of people. When we arrived there were three people already there and we pretty well filled the tasting space making five. It was a nice experience and the woman who took us through their wines was friendly and knowledgeable. We purchased a couple of bottles that we enjoyed during the tasting. UPDATE: Just opened a bottle of their Auxerrois. What a great wine if your are looking for something lite and refreshing.

Great outdoor ambience, great new wine and Mediterranean tarte flambée. Service very friendly
