Nice start For great tours through the forest .. And easy to find
Meets purpose
The car park at the Lindemannsruhe has been THE starting point for many excursionists for many decades, who explore the surrounding northern Palatinate Forest by mountain bike or on foot. The hiking routes are diverse and offer something for every fitness level. You should be there EARLY if you want to get a place by car on a weekend day. In the warm months, the huge parking lot is usually overcrowded very quickly. From here ... you can start the very beautiful premium hiking trail 'Ganerbeweg'. If you are not bound by time, you can also get to this parking lot from the bus station in Bad Dürkheim by bus line 489. The journey usually takes 10-15 minutes. Unfortunately, the parking lot is often very littered after intensive weekends.
