FWS Reisemobile

We ordered a VanTourer 540 at the CMT in 2018. The advice was good and the price was okay, the VanTourer was great, so we signed the purchase agreement with FWS. As a bonus, the FWS company, the so-called specialist workshop, installed a solar system. After a year we unfortunately had water damage in the mobile home, which was due to the leaky cable entry of the solar system. A repair at the leak was carried out professionally and visually in such a dilettante manner that we had to hire a lawyer to represent our interests, as Mr. Scheubert (company owner) could not be talked to and he also saw no defect here. A court-ordered report and a professional repair now showed the grievances. Both the sealing of the cable entry and the improvement of the sealing represented a technical and visual deficiency. In plain English, this means that the company has made an unparalleled botch here. The sealing compound at the cable entry was originally only injected around the plate, during the rework then only a second thick "sausage" was spit over the old sealing compound without removing the old sealing compound and cleaning the whole thing. There are clear procedures for creating a seal, namely to apply the sealant to the entire contact surface - but nothing of this was to be seen and so a possible renewed leak and renewed damage to our motorhome was accepted. According to Mr. Scheubert, damp cabinet parts affected by the ingress of water were also exchanged and did not look any better afterwards. I am appalled by this incompetence and this boss is simply an imposition. Mr. Scheubert will surely have an excuse ready or twist the facts, but the court-ordered report speaks a clear language and there is nothing to shake. All those who have received such a "bushing" there should check the seal accordingly. You just have to warn against this. D.
