We went to Winzergenossenschaft Königsbach-Neustadt eG because it was just a short walk from our hotel in the historic district. We were very impressed with what we found there. The woman who took us in hand was very pleasant and knowledgeable about her stock. We each told her what kind of wine we liked and she suggested a series of wines for us to taste till we found our favorites. I was pleased to see that she didn't suggest to most expensive.
We selected a Riesling and a Spatburgunder (all for less tan EU5 per bottle) and three bottles of Sekt. We stopped the next morning on our way home and everything was waiting cart for us to load it into our car. We now have an extra reason to go back new Neustadt.
Parking in the yard, handicapped accessible entrance, nice ambience. A few additional Palatine delicacies to put together a present basket. Unfortunately, wine tasting is not possible due to Corona. Everything stowed in the car with a small trolley. Great offers at the moment.
