It is a huge pine and birch forest area with thousands of trails. The hotel is good. Ambience is good. From here one can start the hiking.

Well what can I say? A great area to walk, have amazing views and a beautiful forest. Many huts to rest. It makes fun to explore and it's a great place for geocachers. There are truly some nice geocaches to walk through the forest and enjoy nature.

Here I discovered some of the most beautiful hiking trails in Germany. There is a wonderful start to the northeast near Bad Dürkheim.
