It's not that the food is bad, quite to the contrary... But the one-star rating is based on customer service, especially opening times. I've been there twice now, and the place simply was closed, although according to their own opening times, the place should've been open. The first time was a few weeks ago on a Wednesday evening. It was a beautiful evening, sun was shining, no apparent reason NOT to be open. The last time was yesterday evening. Although the weather was a bit shifty, there was no reason to be closed. I mean, who closes a restaurant business on Friday evening, without even indicating it anywhere?! Just bad luck? I doubt it. It's just lackluster execution. With this kind of attitude, you will never build a solid customer base... Too bad, it isn't the food, but someone who doesn't give a damn about their customers, also doesn't deserve their business. I will scrap this one from my list.

Bollo’s Burger Shack offers amazing fresh Home Made Food; they do not believe in Food waste, so they order the ingredients in fresh and operate on a ‘Once it’s Gone, it’s Gone’ attitude. If they food has all sold by 8pm, they will be closed, be earlier next time. Home Made Burgers, Pulled Pork and the (incorrectly translated) Home Made Chips with Knofidip, ARE TO DIE FOR!!

Once you get to know this place it is hard to go elsewhere for quality burgers and top of the line smoked pulled pork. Yes, mister Bollo has his own way of operating this joint but you just have to accept and respect this. He just does what he loves, whenever he wants and when he is open you are in for a treat. Opening times have become more regular lately but always check Facebook before you go there if you have to travel far. My favourites are the peanut bacon burger, the (improved) home made chips and the legendary pulled pork. The only problem is, what to choose? It's all just so good and you can't have it all. Trust me, I tried. Just wish he would somehow have a "a little bit of everything" menu option, with a burger, chips and some pulled pork in the side. Oh yes, I almost forgot about the crackerball... Pulled pork formed together as a giant epic ball with a deep fry crust, bacon and drenched in amazing barbecue sauce. It sure is a cracker.

It's delicious. Very. I decided on the Christmas special. Plentiful and extremely delicious. Bollo himself very friendly, I felt like being a regular customer. It was definitely not my last visit - next, the burgers 🍔 will be tried from top to bottom. I also like to have 35 minutes to travel there.

Been there for the first time today. Best burger joint I've ever eaten at. Burger tasty and juicy. The portions are huge and the pulled pork has a great smoky taste. Delicious. Again and again and highly recommended.
