June 18 2020 - I had a very unpleasant experience at Denn's Biomark in Krefeld.... I was at the cheese counter, I asked the sales clerk (me very friendly) if she would please cut me a piece of cheese, she gave me a lecture about how much work it is, for her to cut and package the cheese and told me I should buy a piece which she already packaged. The next thing that happened, is for me, still, a shock...obviously perturbed about the situation, she put the knife into the cheese, turned to continue the process of cutting and packaging my cheese and the WHOLE wheel of cheese fell on the floor. She promptly picked it up...cut my cheese for me and when I confronted her with the situation she told me '" I cleaned the floor this morning"! Her attitude was simple cheeky and she certainly should be taught hygenic methods in the food industry! Her attitude and carelessness is unexceptabe! It is a NO GO! It was the last time that I will shop there!

The range is good and the prices are quite high, as is usual in organic shops. However, the friendliness and atmosphere in the shop are problematic. The staff is mostly unfriendly, basic forms of politeness are seldom shown to the customer. You can feel that in the whole store. The majority of the employees don't have much to offer in terms of their expertise either, if you think that you should have at least a rudimentary knowledge of the products that are being sold. All in all, a shop that you go around as often as possible.

the star is for the wide variety of products. As for the staff, no hello no please nothing. Very unfriendly and annoyed staff. That doesn't have to be the case, then I don't go there anymore, you really don't have to accept it.
