Light rail station with two side platforms, a bus stop, an overpass and two modern lifts. The lifts were built in 2009 and the way to the lifts is unfortunately not covered. The platforms and bus stops are covered. In 2009, the station was modernized and during the modernization, the two escalators were replaced and built two new elevators

Good and easy connection. The bus stop is partly covered and there are also a few seats. The stop is suitable for wheelchair users and people with prams. From time to time there are unfortunately delays.

At the Sittardsberg many buses and the U79 from the DVG come together to board or transfer. A great transport hub. Then the big intersection where many roads turn and drive through. Only the left turn from Altenbrucher dam towards Huckingen have a big problem because the traffic light phase is too short. Only a few come over where buses are also present. There is no left turn signal traffic light. At some point, those from the city hall will probably wake up but they have been sleeping for a long time. H.Schäfer
