I was with my son at ward 44, the nursing staff was just great, everyone was nice, helpful area. I'm very satisfied.

At the beginning of October I was in the children's clinic for 2 days with my 6 year old son. He had several mosquito bites on his face that had become infected. At first we were accommodated in the corona ward, as we had caught a cold shortly before. We had little waiting time between the individual examinations and were brought to our room relatively quickly. The nursing staff was very hard-working and nice. We felt well looked after. After the negative Covid test, we were moved to another ward and looked after very nicely there, although apparently it was busy. The treating doctors were also competent and friendly. I would go to the children's clinic again at any time.

Absolutely not recommended. My son has some kind of mosquito bite (hard to explain) on his body. This hurt him so much tonight that he woke up shortly before 2 am, was trembling and looked very pale in the face. As the areas got bigger and bigger, I made my way to the children's clinic. On the way there I called there as a precaution and had Sister Miriam on the phone. She said I should talk to the doctor first, but she is currently having treatment and I should call again in 15 minutes. I just said that I would never come because of normal mosquito bites and he is shaking and pale. And the doctor can't give me a remote diagnosis. Then she said I already have my diagnosis and don't need to come. And hung up. This has never happened to me. My sister was in the car and overheard everything. We were both totally flabbergasted. Then turned around and drove to the Kulmbach Clinic. I also called there beforehand. They said we should come immediately. A super infection was found there with a slight shock! Never again Bayreuth Children's Hospital !!

Unfortunately had to go with both children in the KW due to febrile seizures and croup coughs / fits. It was terrible both times. The children's ward is an imposition, as are the waiting times and the fact that nobody speaks to you and you are held up for days by interns. Taking my son's blood alone was a massacre and there was blood everywhere. The interval between visits was two years but nothing had improved. Would never recommend this clinic because it is inhumane and a real disaster !! Never again if I can avoid it !!

Rude chief doctor! No time for patients! Catastrophe. My son was in the clinic with abdominal pain was discharged in 3 days with pain continued! Didn't interest him! Why is there so much complaint about Klinikum Bayreuth and nobody has been doing what for years ??? Embarrassing!
