It is one of my favorite places to be. On summer time, it is possible to walk around, do a picnic or to have something to eat and drink at the beer garden or at the coffee/ice-cream place. The gardens are amazing, full of tulips. On autumn it is also magical due to the yellow tree leaves. One possibility is also to walk from the city until there. It is not fair away and the way is beautiful.

Beautiful museum and park just outside of Bayreuth. The entire place is indeed pretty and offers some scenic views of the early 18th century Old Palace and the 19th century New Palace. The parks have been maintained really well and are a delight to walk through. The place isn't very crowded most of the times. Many fountains and little water bodies too are scattered throughout the premises. Top place!

Very Regal feel. Fountains go off on the hour for 5 mins at the palace area where you can enjoy a light lunch and coffee at the cafe. So many botanical beauty and nice tunnels lines with trees. Big area to walk and strong Roman influence.
