unfortunately not recommended. The hotel itself is nice. It is in a good and quiet location in the middle of Bad Tölz and my room was a great mix of rustic interior and modern bathroom. The food was okay too, if too little, especially at lunchtime. Often enough, I also had to take care of myself. The weak point lies with the owners, the Eberl family, and in some places the staff. Mr and Mrs Eberl, both of whom can often be seen in the hotel, neither introduced themselves to me during my three-week stay, nor asked at any point how I liked it, whether I was fine, not even when I was leaving. I only knew from other guests that these are the owners. When I left, Mr. Eberl crowned the whole thing when I asked for a proper invoice, which normally says that everything has been paid (I received an interim invoice showing my deposit and there was still an outstanding balance on it, although I did had paid for everything). Visibly annoyed, he stamped the bill and signed that it was paid. The staff takes getting used to and unfortunately does not allow relaxation. If you think the customer is king there, far from it. The staff will tell you where to sit with whom and much more. Once I was allowed to let the waiter grumble at me because I didn't appear at breakfast at my usual time - unbelievable. If you showed up 2 minutes early at lunchtime, the waiter looked puzzled at the clock and said harshly they weren't that far. Mr. Eberl, who unfortunately often served himself, has a very uncomfortably fake manner. He tries to be friendly very artificially. If you walk past her, she skillfully manages to ignore you. The therapeutic applications were poor. The massages that I got from a really nice lady were just pure wellness petting and didn't even bring me relaxation because they were so poorly performed. Unfortunately, I couldn't really relax during my time there. I left over four thousand euros there and nobody was interested in how I was doing there. I will certainly not do my next rehab there, but somewhere where you are valued as a person and personal well-being is of interest.
