I am a director and was staying at this place for a couple of weeks to shoot a film in Bad Tölz. The apartment is nice enough and mostly quiet. But what turned out to be difficult was the very controlling landlady. She seemed a bit like an old-school landlady who wouldn't allow you to have guests in your room. She also would complain about the smallest things and call my production company all the time. Instead of talking directly to me she called them almost every day - they did't tell me about was because it was so unimportant. One day, we had friends over for a cup of coffee in the afternoon. Almost immediately the landlady knocked on the door, complained about the noise ( we were laughing too loud) and said the apartment was only booked for two people.- To cut it short: I wouldn't stay there again. There are friendlier places in Bad Tölz such as the Sanatorium Sedlmayr next door. Great apartments, friendly people.

friendly staff, tastefully furnished rooms, every demand is immediately taken care of, simply very recommendable, this is how vacation should be :-)

Had a reservation made, personally, as from Bad Tölz but the unfriendliness of the lady at the front desk kept me from it. I rang on a Tue at about 18.00 o'clock comment that I could hear: come when you want .... A shame! There are just too few hotels and accommodations in Bad Tölz, so you can afford a lot!

it is not better. very gracious host, best hospitality, courteous service and very clean, well maintained house. the apartments are tastefully and individually furnished. The breakfast is always fresh from the best ingredients. P.S. In Bad Tölz and the surrounding area, a lot can be done alone and with children.
