Very bad experience: I rented a van for two days, got a speeding ticket which came to my house and I payed it. After some time I received a letter to my house from ecollect (debt collecting company) charging me 60 euros because of my speeding ticket. I off course explained that I payed the ticket long time ago and I didn't understand why are they charging me 60 Euros. They said that SIXT charges for the trouble of opening the mail and informing the user which they did only via e-mail, never even tried to called me. I was at some point a Golden customer, I guess that won't be the case anymore, paying 60 Euros extra just for the trouble of sending a couple of emails which I missed because I get so much publicity in my e-mail that I can hardly read the important emails.
The cars I took were great. The staff are polite and attentive. Car pick-up and drop-off are very fast.
Rented a car for private use for 2 days, staff was very friendly and supportive. The person at the reception gave me a good offer as per my usage.
Rented the car on a Sunday with a 5 hour offer. The "box" for returning the key was supposed to have a scan of the key with the exact hour of return. It happened to scan it 3 hours later so SIXT charged me 65€ extra. After several calls with SIXT they said they have to trust their system, so they won't return anything.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced - they rather believe a machine which "can't make a mistake" and call you a liar.
