Pfanzeltplatz is a gem in the big city, closer to the village than to the city. The Hachinger Bach meanders in the middle, the church of St. Michael, the historic elementary school and numerous other old buildings compete for the attention of visitors on the square. There is a good bakery, a great ice cream parlor, a decent Italian and a hundred meters away two Bavarian taverns with a beer garden.

The Pfanzeltplatz is a real gem. With its chestnuts, the Hachinger Bach, the benches under the trees. The boards that can be seen on some houses are very informative. They indicate the age of each house and what used to be there. History can be read at the fountain, which is located in the pedestrian area. The square is rounded off with small shops such as bakers, butchers, ice cream parlors, an inn, a church worth seeing, and much more. Parking spaces for cars are available. The site can also be reached by bus.
