Absolutly beautiful setting .Extremely attentive and friendly staff. The restaurant is well known by locals and is a real treat and nice accommodation as a hotel guest . Highly recommended as an "off the beaten path" get away !l

I stopped there on a bike tour with my two little boys. Location: Nice view of the Bavarian forest, the Alps and the surrounding area. Eat: Main course ok. Side salad à la plastic bucket inedible, presumably from the major supplier - then too expensive in total. Curiosity: Red barrier tape and a huge no-parking / U-turn sign at the restaurant's own parking lot, that doesn't seem very inviting. Why??? No Go: Huge, unleashed dog, which looked threatening to me and my children. Conclusion: For a cyclist, yes, linger longer, no.

Very friendly service. Just eat well. Beautiful view. Price performance is right.
