Legally from the warranty, professionally and customer service a disaster I bought a used car 2 years ago, with 2 sets of tires. As it happened after 2 years in another workshop, the set of summer tires was not approved for this vehicle at all, so that I was on the road for 2 years without my knowledge without insurance cover. Fortunately, nothing worse has happened during that time. The offer that the dealership made to me was still in need of negotiation. The Hölter company wanted to check my proposal and let me know. The result, however, was that they had consulted with the car dealer's lawyer and told me that they were out of the warranty and didn't want to offer me anything more, not even the offer made previously. I cannot understand that at all, as nothing has ever been rejected on my part, nor have any demands been made. Shocked by this approach, I nevertheless tried to persuade the management to take the matter properly by email. During another phone call, I was informed that they had skimmed through the email and had not dealt with it further and would not do so either. The whole process went directly through the management, who also sold me the car! Customer service and goodwill look different! To get a car sold by a specialist dealer where the tires are not approved and you are on the road without knowledge without insurance cover is a disaster in my eyes!
