Under no circumstances will I have my child operated on here. Here we have obtained the third opinion. We drove an extra 250km because and on the phone it was repeatedly assured that the mother can stay with the child until she falls asleep. That is probably not possible. We have already had advice from 2 other surgeons and clearly had the feeling that the guidelines from 1945 are strictly adhered to. The worst, however, were the premises. A pediatric surgery in which the waiting room has a snack machine but no toys or decorations or at least no paint on the wall is suspect to me anyway. But that the corridor up there, past the 17 treatment rooms, is a dark gray on gray, was the icing on the cake. The treatment room itself seemed cold and functional (was not to be expected from the waiting room onwards). I clearly had the feeling that people are working for profit here. Ashamed to call yourselves CHILD SURGERY.
